Mayme Mary Jane Grimes died on Oct. 17, 1966, at her home in Marshall, Missouri. She was 91.
According to her death certificate, Mayme was born on Jan. 2, 1875, in Saline County, Missouri, to Mary G. Cameron and Daniel T. Neff. Mayme was a housekeeper and lived at 890 S. Redman in Marshall. She had lived in Marshall for 15 years. Husband Sidney H. Grimes preceded Mayme in death.
Mayme’s cause of death was arteriolitis heart decay. She was buried on Oct. 20, 1966, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.
