Amanda Lydia Fulkerson died on Jan. 2, 1962, at a nursing home in Trenton, Missouri. She was 83.
According to her death certificate, Amanda was born on April 14, 1878, in Grundy County, Missouri, to Joshua Fulkerson and Margaret Fulkerson.
Amanda lived in Edinburg (about 6 miles outside of Trenton) and had worked at the post office.
Amanda died at Whitfield Nursing Home, 1513 Chestnut St. in Trenton. Her cause of death was bronchial pneumonia. Amanda was buried on Jan. 4, 1962, at Edinburg IOOF Cemetery in Edinburg.
